Popping up in the Huidevetter gallery

The Nieuwe Gaanderij, located between Huidevettersstraat and Korte Gasthuisstraat (Wilde Zee) in Antwerp, will be welcoming a whole host of young startups over the next six months. With the support of Flanders in Action (ViA) and the City of Antwerp, Bermaso Retail Investment is providing vacant retail spaces.

One of these is being taken over by AAPKO, five Antwerp craft producers:

  • Amielo, who produces honey in Boechout and the city of Antwerp
  • Kamil, the high-fermentation beer from the Berchem microbrewery Bieren Van Begeerte
  • Migino, which makes nut oils in Hove, and
  • Belgian Saffron, with, yes, Belgian saffron from Morckhoven
